Baseball was a big part of my childhood. I spent countless hours on the Mount Airy Baseball fields as a player for various teams like the AAA Blue Jays, to the majors Athletics, or the travel team the Mt. Airy All Stars. Those games and practices became the backdrop for some of my most vivid childhood memories.
This year, my photography business MHamiltonVisuals is sponsoring the Dodgers in that same “Majors” league—a genuine full-circle moment that feels both surprising and meaningful.
Getting to throw out the first pitch on opening day was surreal. The field simultaneously felt smaller than I remembered yet instantly familiar. The sounds, the energy, the excitement—it all came rushing back.
Local sponsorships matter for youth sports. They provide essential resources that keep these programs running for kids in our community. Being able to support Mount Airy Baseball from this new perspective—as a business owner rather than a player—connects my past with my present in an unexpected way.
From player to sponsor, it’s a connection to my roots that means more to me than just having my business name on their uniforms.
