Best Headshot Photographers in Philadelphia (2026 Guide)
A Philadelphia headshot photographer on who he recommends around the city and suburbs when he is not the right fit or not available.
If you’re looking for headshots in Philadelphia, I’d love to be the one to take them. But I’m not always available, and I’m honestly not the perfect fit for everyone. When that happens, I don’t like to leave people hanging. The photographers below are ones I know and trust, and the ones I’d send you to myself. It comes up more than you’d think. This group has passed clients back and forth for years.
I also noted where everyone’s based, since the Philadelphia area is big and it can matter for your drive.
My studio's in northwest Philadelphia, and it's an easy trip whether you're coming from Center City or the suburbs. There's free parking right next door too, which people always appreciate. I shoot both corporate and actor headshots, and I really just try to keep things relaxed so it doesn't feel like a chore. And if it helps, I've also got 191 five-star Google reviews you can read through.
When I’m not available, here’s who I recommend
Richard Waine is out in Lancaster, so it’s a bit of a drive, but honestly worth it. He and I started shooting headshots way back around the same time, and he’s built a great reputation out there since. If you’re already close by to him, go see him.
Jason Ranalli works right here in the city, over in East Falls. I’ve known Jason forever, and he does really nice work with a relaxed, no-pressure feel. A solid choice if you’d rather stay in the city.
Isolde Baylor (Images by IBA) is on the Main Line in Wayne. She takes great care of her clients, and the whole experience is polished start to finish. She does a great job with big corporate and team shoots as well.
Jim McAndrew runs his studio out in Collegeville. He’s just a genuinely good guy who looks after the people he photographs. Worth reaching out if you’re closer to that area.
Any of them will treat you well. And if you’d like to start with me, see my pricing or just reach out and we’ll figure it out together.
