Philly Featured: Jada Bromberg
Meet Jada Bromberg, GRAMMY U Philadelphia Representative - connecting emerging music professionals and building community through events, music, and mental health advocacy.
I found Jada Bromberg on LinkedIn, and what she’s doing stood out right away. I also own and operate a recording studio, so when I saw someone building community in Philly’s music industry—I had to reach out.
Music, Community, and Connection
Jada is the GRAMMY U Philadelphia Representative. She builds and hosts events throughout Greater Philadelphia that bring emerging music professionals together from diverse backgrounds—and honestly, it’s the kind of thing this city needs more of.
What drives her is personal. She’s often struggled to feel like she truly belongs, and that experience shaped how she shows up for others. She’s intentional about inclusivity and spreading kindness, and she puts that into action by creating spaces where people in the industry can actually connect. Music has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, and she believes it has a real ability to connect and heal people.
Why Philadelphia
When I asked Jada what she loves about being in Philadelphia, she went straight to the music scene. She describes it as underrated—a countless number of venues and activities, you just have to know where to look. That fits perfectly with what she does. She’s making sure people find them.
Building a Brand That’s True to Herself
Jada is also a mental health advocate. She’s been open about her own experiences with anxiety and depression, and that openness has guided her throughout her journey. She started releasing music at 16, with the hope of reaching people who resonate with her work so they don’t feel alone.
Over time, her brand has expanded and she’s continued to impact more people—nationally and globally. She has a lot of interests, but staying true to herself while embracing new opportunities is something she’s committed to.
